Once a year we opt for a family trip. A few months back we decided to head towards Chamarajanagar. I am a lover of mother-nature. Most of our trips end up in places where you find lots of plantations or forest.

Our travel agent booked us a family accommodation at the Giridarshini Hotel. Beautifully nestled in the middle of the nature Giridarshini Hotel is a pleasant property. The hotel looks like a small banglow. It was a 2 nights and 3 day trip. Our agent booked 1 cottage for us. Giridarshini Hotel offered us the best family package which went little below my calculated budget. For me the trip started well. I was happy as I saved some money.

Hospitality service at its best:

We were welcomed by the staffs very warmly. Once we started unpacking, our welcome drink arrived at our room. The room interiors has been stylishly made, to satisfy the demand of the modern era. A little later, we had our lunch, it was delicious. Sharp at 3.30p.m we were taken to the nearest temples, a beautiful blend of historic and the modern era. I enjoyed the bird watching season. One can get a glimpse of few rare birds in this area. I had an amazing experience. Our guide brought us back to the hotel before 6.30p.m. The staffs took the initiative to arrange for a beautiful campfire followed by high tea.

Our taste buds got pampered by the delicious delicacies of the hotel. We appreciated the food preparation. After dinner we went back to our room, I decided to sit by the large window and enjoy the splendid view of the mountain. Here one can shake off all the stress of the city life. The blend soothing silence and the beauty of the nature was so intensifying, that I lost track of time. Jolting back to reality, I crawled into the warm and nicely made bed. Silently I appreciated the Giridarshini Hotel services.
